Annual Council Meeting

I hereby summon you to the Annual Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 16th May 2018 at 7.00 pm at the Penwartha Hall, Voguebeloth, Illogan

Members of the public are invited to attend.

AGENDA

  1. To elect a Chairman for the municipal year 2018/2019 and the Chairman to sign the declaration of acceptance of office
  1. To appoint a Vice Chairman for the municipal year 2018/2019
  1. Chairman’s Welcome and Apologies
  1. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25
  1. To consider applications from members for dispensations
  1. Public participation (Maximum of 15 mins – Every speaker a limit of 3 mins under Council standing Orders)
  1. To receive reports from the 2017/2018 Chairman and Vice Chairman
  1. To receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 18th April 2018 and the Chairman to sign them
  1. Matters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only
  1. To note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since the last Full Council meeting:
  • Planning and Environmental Services Committee – 11th April 2018
  • Planning and Environmental Services Committee – 18th April 2018
  • Governance Review Committee – 25th April 2018
  • Planning and Environmental Services Committee – 2nd May 2018
  1. To appoint standing committees and the number of members on each committee
  1. To set the Terms of Reference for all standing committees and agree any future actions
  1. To appoint members to standing committees and agree any future actions
  1. To elect the Chairman of the Finance and Resources Committee
  1. To confirm the bank mandate and appoint signatories
  1. To consider the payment of any subscriptions falling to be paid annually
  1. To review representation on or work with external bodies and arrangements for reporting back and agree any future actions
  1. To set the dates, times and place of ordinary meetings of the Full Council for the year ahead and agree any future meetings
  1. To receive the National Joint Council for Local Government Services 2018 and 2019 Payscales and Allowances, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To receive reports on the payments, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of March 2018 and agree any future actions
  1. To authorise payment of accounts for the month of May 2018 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)
  1. To receive the amended grant application form from Illogan School PTA, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To receive the CALC training calendar for 2018, consider whether members or officers would like to attend any of the training sessions, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To consider any correspondence up to the date of the meeting and agree responses and actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)
  1. To receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety, agree future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To receive an update on The Glebe Field and agree any future actions
  1. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales
