Full Council Meeting

I hereby summon you to a Full Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 17th January 2018 at 7.00pm at the Penwartha Hall, Voguebeloth, Illogan

Members of the public are invited to attend.


  1. Safety Procedures
  1. Chairman’s Welcome and Apologies
  1. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25
  1. To consider applications from members for dispensations
  1. Public participation (Maximum of 15 mins – Every speaker a limit of 3 mins under Council standing Orders)
  1. Chairman’s Announcements
  1. To receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 13th December 2017 and the Chairman to sign them
  1. Matters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only
  1. To note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since the last Full Council meeting:
  • Community Liaison Committee – 27th November 2017
  • Planning and Environmental Services Committee – 6th December 2017
  • Planning and Environmental Services Committee – 3rd January 2018
  1. To receive reports on the payments, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of December 2017
  1. To authorise payment of accounts for the month of January 2018 (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)
  1. To review the Council Committees, appoint members to fill any vacancies and agree any future actions
  1. To note that the lease for the Council Office expires on the 20th August 2018, consider future options for the provision of a Council Office facility and agree any future actions
  1. To receive documentation from Cllr Szoka proving that Cllr Holmes had previously reported him to the Standards Board; to receive a response and an apology from Cllr Holmes and agree any future actions
  1. To consider any correspondence up to the date of the meeting and agree responses and actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)
  1. To receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety, agree future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To receive an update on The Glebe Field and agree any future actions
  1. To receive reports from the following outside bodies:
  • Police
  • Representatives to outside organisations
  • Illogan Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan Steering Group
  • Cornwall Councillors
  1. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales
  1. Date & time of next meeting

Wednesday 21st February 2018, 7pm in Penwartha Hall.

  1. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed
  1. To consider quotes for a camera, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
  1. To receive applications for the vacant position of Councillor for the Tehidy Ward and interview the candidates
  1. To re-admit members of the press and public
  1. To co-opt a Councillor to represent the Ward of Tehidy
