In Memory of Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022

On behalf of the residents of Illogan, the Parish Council expresses our deep sadness at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen was a much-loved monarch, and she will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with our new King and the Royal Family at this time.

Queen Elizabeth was known for her sense of duty and devotion and she ruled over our country at a time of enormous change with great grace and dignity.

For those who wish to do so, you are invited to lay flowers (please no cellophane or plastic) at the new Platinum Jubilee bench on The Platt at the entrance to Manningham Woods.

A Book of Condolence will also be open on the Royal website .

Today is a very sad day for our country, but while we mourn our loss, we also remember the great joy the Queen brought to many.

We remember a lifetime of service and dedication and we give thanks that Her Majesty was a part of our lives.
