DESCRIPTION:I hereby summon you to the Annual Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 16th May 2018 at 7.00 pm at the Penwartha Hall\, Voguebeloth\, Illogan \nMembers of the public are invited to attend. \nSafety Procedures \nAGENDA\n\nTo elect a Chairman for the municipal year 2018/2019 and the Chairman to sign the declaration of acceptance of office\n\n\nTo appoint a Vice Chairman for the municipal year 2018/2019\n\n\nChairman’s Welcome and Apologies\n\n\nMembers to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25\n\n\nTo consider applications from members for dispensations\n\n\nPublic participation (Maximum of 15 mins – Every speaker a limit of 3 mins under Council standing Orders)\n\n\nTo receive reports from the 2017/2018 Chairman and Vice Chairman\n\n\nTo receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 18th April 2018 and the Chairman to sign them\n\n\nMatters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions\, for information only\n\n\nTo note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since the last Full Council meeting:\n\n\nPlanning and Environmental Services Committee – 11th April 2018\nPlanning and Environmental Services Committee – 18th April 2018\nGovernance Review Committee – 25th April 2018\nPlanning and Environmental Services Committee – 2nd May 2018\n\n\nTo appoint standing committees and the number of members on each committee\n\n\nTo set the Terms of Reference for all standing committees and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo appoint members to standing committees and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo elect the Chairman of the Finance and Resources Committee\n\n\nTo confirm the bank mandate and appoint signatories\n\n\nTo consider the payment of any subscriptions falling to be paid annually\n\n\nTo review representation on or work with external bodies and arrangements for reporting back and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo set the dates\, times and place of ordinary meetings of the Full Council for the year ahead and agree any future meetings\n\n\nTo receive the National Joint Council for Local Government Services 2018 and 2019 Payscales and Allowances\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive reports on the payments\, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of March 2018 and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo authorise payment of accounts for the month of May 2018 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)\n\n\nTo receive the amended grant application form from Illogan School PTA\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive the CALC training calendar for 2018\, consider whether members or officers would like to attend any of the training sessions\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo consider any correspondence up to the date of the meeting and agree responses and actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)\n\n\nTo receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety\, agree future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive an update on The Glebe Field and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales\n\n\nDate & time of next meeting:\n\nWednesday 20th June 2018\, 7pm in Penwartha Hall \nGiven under my hand this day Wednesday 9th May 2018. \nSarah Willsher \nClerk to the Council
