Full Council meeting

I hereby summon you to a Full Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 21st August 2024 at 7.00 pm at Illogan Parish Council Community Office, Trevelyan Road, Illogan, TR16 4RG

Members of the press and public are invited to attend.

3. To receive and approve apologies for absence and agree any future actions

4. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25

5. To consider applications from members for dispensations

8. To receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 17th July 2024 and the Chairman to sign them

9. Matters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only

10. To receive the Delegated Decisions Register since the last meetings, ratify all decisions made and agree any future actions

11. To receive reports on the payments, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of July 2024 and agree any future actions

12. To ratify the Barclaycard payments for the month of July 2024 and agree any future actions

13. To receive correspondence from the Motion Picture Licensing Company (MPLC), agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

14. To authorise payment of accounts for the month of August 2024 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)

15. To receive the recommendations from the Governance Review Committee, to receive and approve the Financial Regulations and agree any future actions

16. To receive a report on the leases for Manningham Wood and the pathway to Illogan Churchyard, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

17. To review graffiti in Manningham Wood, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

18. To review a list of redundant items in the storage container and how to dispose of them and agree any future actions

19. To consider Councillors Skills and whether they could be used to assist with council business and agree any future actions

20. To consider management, maintenance and future developments in Illogan Park and other parish facilities, agree any appropriate actions and any associated expenditure

21. To receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety, agree future actions and any associated expenditure

22. To receive correspondence from the 10th July 2024 until the 13th August 2024, agree any appropriate responses and any future actions

23. To receive reports from the Cornwall Councillors

24. To receive a 2-minute update from committee chairmen and note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since 4th July 2024:

i. Climate, Environment and Planning Committee – 17th July and 7th August 2024
ii. Governance Review Committee – 24th July 2024
iii. Community Events Committee – 30th July 2024

25. To receive a 2-minute update from the Council Representative on outside bodies including the Police Liaison Committee and on Cllrs who have attended training courses or conferences

26. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales

27. Date & time of next meeting:

Wednesday 18th September 2024, 7pm in Illogan Parish Council Community Office.

28. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed

29. To receive and approve the Agreement for the Use of Facilities at Illogan Park between Illogan Parish Council and Mental Health Football Club, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

30. To receive a report on the racking and storage solutions for storage container, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

31. To receive applications for the vacant positions of Councillor, speak to candidates individually and consider any future actions

32. To re-admit members of the press and public

33. To co-opt up to two Councillors to the Illogan Ward of the Council and co-opted Councillors to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office, to be witnessed by the Clerk
