Full Council meeting

I hereby summon you to a Full Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 18th September 2024 at 7.00 pm at Illogan Parish Council Community Office, Trevelyan Road, Illogan, TR16 4RG

Members of the press and public are invited to attend.

3. To receive and approve apologies for absence and agree any future actions

4. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25

5. To consider applications from members for dispensations

8. To receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 21st August 2024 and the Chairman to sign them

9. Matters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only

10. To receive and approve the minutes of the Committees Task and Finish Group Meeting held on the 7th November 2023 and the Chairman to sign them

11. To receive and approve the minutes of the Projects Committee Meeting held on the 11th March 2024 and the Chairman to sign them

12. To receive the Delegated Decisions Register since the last meetings, ratify all decisions made and agree any future actions

13. To receive reports on the payments, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of August 2024 and agree any future actions

14. To ratify the Barclaycard payments for the month of August 2024 and agree any future actions

15. To receive and approve the quarterly investment strategy report and agree any future actions.

16. To authorise payment of accounts for the month of September 2024 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)

17. To receive correspondence from the external auditor and agree the amendments made to the audit paperwork and any future actions

18. To receive the Cormac Solutions Ltd public consultation on the Proposed Kerb Realignment at Clifton Road/Spar Lane Junction, agree a response and any future actions

19. To appoint Councillors to fill vacancies on Council Committees:

i. Community Events Committee – 1 space
ii. Finance and Resources Committee – 1 space
iii. Governance Review – 2 spaces

20. To receive a report on tablets for Councillors and agree any future actions

21. To receive a report on the Illogan Review, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

22. To receive a report and consider erecting signs to highlight the unusual place names in the parish, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

23. To consider management, maintenance and future developments in Illogan Park and other parish facilities, agree any appropriate actions and any associated expenditure

24. To receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety, agree future actions and any associated expenditure

25. To receive correspondence from the 14th August 2024 until the 10th September 2024, agree any appropriate responses and any future actions

26. To receive reports from the Cornwall Councillors

27. To receive a 2-minute update from committee chairmen and note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since the 8th August 2024:

i. Community Events Committee – 20th August and 4th September 2024
ii. Climate, Environment and Planning Committee – 21st August and 4th September 2024

28. To receive a 2-minute update from the Council Representative on outside bodies including the Police Liaison Committee and on Cllrs who have attended training courses or conferences

29. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales

31. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed

32. To receive and approve quotes from the Council’s ICT Support Company for tablets, support and licensing for Councillors, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

33. To receive quotes to replace the Accessible Roundabout in Illogan Park, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

34. To receive a report and quotes to replace a swing seat with an Accessible Swing Seat, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

35. To receive applications for the vacant position of Councillor, speak to candidates individually and consider any future actions

36. To re-admit members of the press and public

37. To co-opt up to a Councillor to the Illogan Ward of the Council and co-opted Councillors to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office, to be witnessed by the Clerk
