DESCRIPTION:I hereby summon you to a Full Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 21st July 2021 at 7.00 pm at The Old School Centre\, Nance Lane\, Illogan \nMembers of the press and public are invited to attend. \nAGENDA\n\nSafety Procedures\n\n\nChairman’s Welcome and Apologies\n\n\nMembers to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25\n\n\nTo consider applications from members for dispensations\n\n\nPublic participation (Maximum of 15 mins – Every speaker a limit of 3 mins under Council standing Orders)\n\n\nChairman’s Announcements\n\n\nTo receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 23rd June 2021 and the Chairman to sign them\n\n\nMatters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions\, for information only\n\n\nTo receive the Delegated Decisions Register since the last meetings\, ratify all decisions made and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo receive reports on the payments\, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of June 2021 and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo authorise payment of accounts for the month of July 2021 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)\n\n\nTo consider the grant application received from St Illogan Parish Church\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive recommendations from the Governance Review Committee\, receive and approve the amended Financial Regulations and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo agree the Terms of Reference for Committees for the 2021/2022 municipal year and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo receive a recommendation from the Staffing Committee – “that due to staffing difficulties/shortages the only meetings to be held whilst the Clerk is on maternity leave\, are the scheduled meetings unless an emergency situation arises and that if additional meetings are intending/going to be held the Clerk is contacted as soon as possible to keep her informed. That the scheduled meetings should focus on the projects the Council have committed to\, namely the Illogan Park and Parish Office Projects and urgent/time sensitive items only” and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo receive additional information from GPJ Consulting on the Parish Office Project and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo approve arrangements to cover inspections and checks during the Clerk’s maternity leave and agree any future actions\n\n\nTo consider management\, maintenance and future developments in Illogan Park and other parish facilities\, agree any appropriate actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive correspondence from Cornwall Councillor Barry Jordon re Cornwall Council’s performance\, agree a response and any future actions\n\n\nTo receive correspondence from the 16th June 2021 until the 14th July 2021\, agree any appropriate responses and any future actions\n\n\nTo receive reports from the Cornwall Councillors\n\n\nTo receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety\, agree future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales\n\n\nDate & time of next meeting:\n\nWednesday 18th August 2021\, 7pm in a venue to be confirmed. \n\nThat under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed\n\n\nTo receive a quote to replace the surface around the picnic bench in the play area at Illogan Park\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n\nTo receive applications for the vacant position of Councillor for the Illogan and Tehidy\n\n\nTo re-admit members of the press and public\n\n\nTo co-opt a Councillor to represent the Illogan Ward and co-opted Councillors to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office\, to be witnessed by the Clerk\n\nGiven under my hand this day Wednesday 14th July 2021. \nSarah Willsher \nClerk to the Council
