DESCRIPTION:I hereby summon you to a Full Council meeting of Illogan Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 20th September 2023 at 7.00 pm at Illogan Parish Council Community Office\, Trevelyan Road\, Illogan\, TR16 4RG \nMembers of the press and public are invited to attend. \nAGENDA\n\nSafety Procedures\nChairman’s Welcome and Apologies\nMembers to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25\nTo consider applications from members for dispensations\nPublic participation (Maximum of 15 mins – Every speaker a limit of 3 mins under Council standing Orders)\nChairman’s Announcements\nTo receive and approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 16th August 2023 and the Chairman to sign them\nMatters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions\, for information only\nTo receive the Delegated Decisions Register since the last meetings\, ratify all decisions made and agree any future actions\nTo receive reports on the payments\, receipts and bank reconciliation for the month of August 2023 and agree any future actions\nTo authorise payment of accounts for the month of September 2023 and agree any future actions (up to date list to be tabled at the meeting)\nTo receive the insurance renewal\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive additional information from the youth teams requesting to play football matches and train on the Illogan Park pitch\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive the draft Communications and Community Engagement Strategy and Action Plan and agree any comments to feedback\nTo appoint a representative to the Camborne\, Pool\, Illogan\, Redruth Place Shaping Board and agree any future actions\nTo consider management\, maintenance and future developments in Illogan Park and other parish facilities\, agree any appropriate actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive a report from the Clerk including Health and Safety\, agree future actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive correspondence from the 17th August 2023 until the 11th September 2023 agree any appropriate responses and any future actions\nTo receive reports from the Cornwall Councillors\nTo receive a 2-minute update from committee chairmen and note the minutes of the following committee meetings held since the 8th August 2023\n\nPlanning and Environmental Services Committee – 16th August and 6th September 2023\nCommunity Events Committee – 28th August 2023\n\n\nTo receive a 2-minute update from the Council Representative on outside bodies including the Police Liaison Committee and on Cllrs who have attended training courses or conferences\nTo consider items to be discussed at future meetings; agree where to discuss and timescales\nDate & time of next meeting:\n\nWednesday 18th October 2023\, 7pm in Illogan Parish Council Community Office \n\nThat under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed\nTo receive quotes for management training for the Clerk\, approve a course\, associated expenditure and any future actions\nTo receive tenders and consultation responses for the Two Way Covered Seating\, appoint a contractor\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive tenders and consultation responses for the Outdoor Sports and Fitness Equipment\, appoint a contractor\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\nTo receive applications for the vacant position of Councillor\, speak to candidates individually and consider any future actions\nTo re-admit members of the press and public\nTo co-opt a Councillor to the Illogan Ward of the Council and co-opted Councillor to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office\, to be witnessed by the Clerk\n\nGiven under my hand this day Tuesday 12th September 2023. \nSarah Rimell \nClerk to the Council
