DESCRIPTION:Notice is hereby given that the Staffing Committee Meeting of Illogan Parish Council is to be held on Wednesday 9th March 2016\, 7pm at the Council Office\, Unit 2 Wheal Agar\, Tolvaddon Energy Park\, Tolvaddon.  Members are hereby summoned to attend. \n  \nAGENDA\n  \n\nChairman’s Welcome and Apologies\n\n  \n\nMembers to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25\n\n  \n\nTo consider applications from members for dispensations\n\n  \n\nTo receive and approve the minutes of the Staffing Committee meeting held on the 8th February 2016 and the Chairman to sign them\n\n  \n\nMatters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions\, for information only\n\n  \n\nThat the Council resolves under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act\, to exclude the press and public due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed.\n\n  \n\nTo receive a update from the Clerk and the Chairman on working conditions and agree any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo receive and approve the draft job description for the post of Administration Assistant and agree any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo receive and approve the draft person specification for the post of Administration Assistant and agree any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo receive and approve the draft advert and agree where to advertise the vacancy for an Administration Assistant and agree any future actions and approve any associated expenditure\n\n  \n\nTo receive and approve the draft job application form\, agree the application process and any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo agree key dates for the post of Office Administrative Assistant and agree any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo agree the interview procedure including who will interview applicants etc and agree any future actions\n\n  \n\nTo receive a report from the Clerk on Health and Safety training and qualifications\, consider the Clerk completing the NEBOSH health and safety qualification\, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure\n\n  \nGiven under my hand this day 2nd March 2016 \n  \nSarah Willsher \nClerk to the Council \n  \nMembers of the Committee:  Cllrs Mrs Loxton (Chairman)\, Ekinsmyth\, Mrs Ferrett\, Szoka and 1 vacancy.
