Community Events Committee Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Community Events Committee will be held on Monday 6th November 2023 at 7.00pm in Illogan Parish Council Community Office, Trevelyan Road, Illogan, TR16 4RG
Members of the public are invited to attend.

AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence
2. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25
3. To consider applications from members for dispensations
4. Public Participation (Maximum of 15 minutes – Every speaker has a limit of 3 minutes under Council Standing Orders)
5. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting of the Community Events Committee held on the 16th October 2023 and the Chairman to sign them
6. Matters arising from the Minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only
7. To appoint a Vice-Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the rest of the municipal year 2023/2024
8. To receive an update on the Events budget, and agree any future actions
9. To agree the arrangements for the 2023 Christmas Lights Switch On Events, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
10. To review the membership requirements for the Community Events Committee including co-opted members of the public, agree any future actions and any recommendations to Full Council
11. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings
12. Date and time of next meeting
13. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed
14. To receive quotes for Christmas trees, approve a quote, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
