Community Events Committee Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Community Events Committee will be held on Monday 20th November 2023 at 7.00pm in Illogan Parish Council Community Office, Trevelyan Road, Illogan, TR16 4RG

Members of the public are invited to attend.

AGENDA

1. To receive apologies for absence

2. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25

3. To consider applications from members for dispensations

4. Public Participation (Maximum of 15 minutes – Every speaker has a limit of 3 minutes under Council Standing Orders)

5. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting of the Community Events Committee held on the 6th November 2023 and the Chairman to sign them

6. Matters arising from the Minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only

7. To appoint a Vice-Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the rest of the municipal year 2023/2024

8. To receive an update on the Events budget, and agree any future actions

9. To agree and finalise the arrangements for the 2023 Christmas Lights Switch On Events, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure

10. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings

11. Date and time of next meeting

12. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed

13. To receive and approve the quote for the MEWP and operatives for the erection, decoration and removal of the Christmas trees, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
