Community Events Committee Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Community Events Committee will be held on Monday 22nd May 2023 at 7.00pm in Illogan Parish Council Community Office, Trevelyan Road, Illogan, TR16 4RG

Members of the public are invited to attend.

AGENDA

1. To elect a Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the municipal year 2023/2024
2. To appoint a Vice Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the municipal year 2023/2024
3. To co-opt members of the public onto the Community Events Committee for the municipal year 2023/2024
4. To receive apologies for absence
5. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25
6. To consider applications from members for dispensations
7. Public Participation (Maximum of 15 minutes – Every speaker has a limit of 3 minutes under Council Standing Orders)
8. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting of the Community Events Committee held on the 24^th April 2023 and the Chairman to sign them
9. Matters arising from the Minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only
10. To receive an update on the Events budget, and agree any future actions (to be tabled at the meeting)
11. To receive a report from the Fun Day Working Group, agree plans for the event, any future actions and any associated expenditure
12. To discuss the arrangements for the 2023 Remembrance Parade, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
13. To discuss the Illogan Feast, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
14. To consider arrangements for the Christmas Lights Switch On Events and agree any future actions
15. To discuss potential future events:
    1.Recycling promotion – ‘What’s in Your Bag’
    2. Youth Disco
    3. Youth Club
16. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings
17. Date and time of next meeting
