Notice is hereby given that the Governance Review Committee Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 at 7.00pm in The Old School Centre, Nance Lane, Illogan

AGENDA

1. To elect a Chairman of the Governance Review Committee for the 2022/2023 municipal year

2. To appoint a Vice Chairman of the Governance Review Committee for the 2022/2023 municipal year

3. To receive apologies for absence

4. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25

5. To consider applications from members for dispensations

6. Public Participation (Maximum of 15 minutes – Every speaker a limit of 3 minutes under Council standing Orders)

7. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting of the Governance Review Committee held on the 27th April 2022 and the Chairman to sign them

8. Matters arising from the minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only

9. To note the amended NALC Model Standing Orders, receive and approve the amended Standing Orders and agree any future actions

10. To receive NALC’s LTN 87 – Procurement and agree any future actions

11. To receive and approve the amended Grant Policy and agree any future actions

12. To receive and approve the amended Quotations and Tenders Policy and agree any future actions

13. To receive and approve the amended Good Governance Policy and agree any future actions

14. To receive and approve the amended Community Engagement Policy and agree any future actions

15. To review the Safeguarding Policy and agree any future actions

16. To review the Repair and Maintenance of Roads Policy and agree any future actions

17. To review the Cornish Language Policy and agree any future actions

18. To review the Weed Control Policy and agree any future actions

19. To receive and approve the amended Violence at Work Risk Assessment and Policy and agree any future actions

20. To receive and approve the amended Old School Centre Risk Assessment and agree any future actions

21. To receive and approve the amended Generic Litter Picking Event Risk Assessment and agree any future actions

22. To review the Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment and Policy and agree any future actions

23. To review the Work-Related Stress Policy and Risk Assessment and agree any future actions

24. To review the Council Office Risk Assessment and agree any future actions

25. To review the Legionella Risk Assessment and how legionella is managed by the Council and agree any future actions

26. To receive the Draft Biodiversity Net Gain Policy and agree any future actions
