1. To elect a Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the 2025/2026 municipal year
2. To appoint a Vice Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the 2025/2026 municipal year
3. To co-opt members of the public onto the Community Events Committee for the municipal year 2025/2026
4. To receive and approve apologies for absence and agree any future actions
5. Members to declare disclosable pecuniary interests and non-registerable interests (including details thereof) in respect of any items on the agenda and any gifts or hospitality over £25
6. To consider applications from members for dispensations
7. Public Participation
8. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting of the Community Events Committee held on the 29^th April 2025 and the Chairman to sign them
9. Matters arising from the Minutes and a report on progress of actions, for information only
10. To receive an update on the Events budget, and agree any future actions (to be tabled at the meeting)
11. To receive a report from Light Up Illogan, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
12. To consider arrangements for Illogan Fun Day, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
13. To consider arrangements to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
14. To consider the arrangements for the 2025 Christmas Lights Switch On Events, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
15. To consider items to be discussed at future meetings

17. That under the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act the press and public are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed
18. To receive quotes for the supply and installation of a 32A single-phase Commando socket outlet to the exterior of the changing room building, suitable for temporary external power us, appoint a contractor, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
19. To receive quotes for hi-vis vests for events, agree any future actions and any associated expenditure
