The garden is becoming increasingly dark in the afternoon/evening, especially in the winter months, a crown reduction of 3m with no branches with a diameter bigger that 60mm to be removed, would reduce the trees overall height enough to allow a significant amount more light in, whilst maintaining public amenity

Reduction to 0.45 metres height and making good to same height. Installation of shiplap timber ends with doors. Tin roof in goose wing grey, that Illogan Parish Council agrees with the recommendation of the Planning Officer and agree any future actions
10. To ratify Council’s response to the correspondence from Cornwall Council Planning Officer regarding PA24/06637 56 Gwel Kann that ‘Illogan Parish Council agree to the proposed conditions on ‘Use’ and ‘Client Limit’ but not the ‘Hours of Operation’. The salon is in a residential area and members feel that the operational hours should not extend as far as 20:00. Most salons operate on a 9am until 5pm basis. Illogan Parish Council would like the operational hours for the hair salon use to not exist outside of 09:00 to 17:00 to avoid unacceptable impacts on the highway network and parking pressures, and to minimise impact on residential amenity, in line with policies 12 and 27 of the Cornwall Local Plan.’
